Not so scary Garry

The third named cyclone of the 2012-2013 season turned out to be less dangerous than its predecessors, Evan and Freda. People in Samoan Archipelago and Cook Islands were relieved as the tropical storm had passed through causing no significant damage in their countries.

The category 3 cyclone brought strong winds and heavy rains, but didn’t make any landfalls. There were no deaths or injuries reported. Cyclone Garry had dissipated by 28th January so The Fiji Meteorological Service cancelled all warnings and alerts.
