An independent review team has been appointed to carry out the Pacific Plan 2013. Sir Mekele Morauta, former Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea, was nominated to lead the Review. The remainder of his team is as follows:

- Dr. Nick Poletti (new Zealand)

The first round of national consultations begins this week, starting in Samoa and then moving on to Tonga, Tuvalu, New Zealand, Australia, Vanuatu and the Cook Islands over the course of February.
